No. We help any patient with a terminal illness and a prognosis of less than six months. Cancer, kidney disease, Parkinson’s, ALS, multiple sclerosis, liver disease, HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer’s and dementia are on the short list of ailments our patients have.

A patient is eligible for hospice care if their physician estimates that have six months or less to live. Almost all Hospice families say they wish they had entered the Hospice program sooner, so that they would receive more services enhancing their quality of life. 

We serve patients of any age, from children to the elderly. 

Yes. Absolutely anyone. We even offer an online referral.

Yes.  A Hospice medical director is available to consult with your doctor, and Hospice nurses will work with your doctor on all aspects of care

Not because of Hospice care. In fact, our goal is to help you meet your goals. So if you want to go to a family gathering, attend some social event or even just do a bit of shopping, we’ll help make it happen.

You will be informed about all aspects of your care and your wishes will guide the hospice team in developing your personal care plan.  Your decisions are their directions.

Yes. We serve people of all faiths, religious backgrounds and beliefs.  Our chaplains are available to help you with your own spiritual needs, if you desire.

We’ll help you in your home, a nursing facility, a hospital or wherever you are. We even help arrange care and support if you want to travel.

NoHospice care is meant to address the most demanding difficulties during  advanced stages of an illness. Hospice affirms life as long as life lasts, neither hastening nor postponing death. The emphasis of Hospice is on enhancing the quality of life until death comes naturally.

Most health insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid, have hospice coverage.  No one is denied Hospice services because of inability to pay.
